Ekaterina Poistogova

Ekaterina Poistogova (born 1 March 1991 as Ekaterina Zavyalova) is a Russian athlete, who specializes in the 800 metres. She is best known for winning the bronze medal in the 800 meters at the 2012 London Olympics.
She is married to fellow middle-distance runner Stepan Poistogov.
==Biography==
Poistogova placed 2nd in her round 1 heat with a time of 2:01.08. She placed 2nd in the Semifinals with a time of 1:59.45.〔 She won the bronze medal in the 800 m final with a time of 1:57.53.〔
In November 2015, after an investigation, a report by the World Anti-Doping Agency recommended that Poistogova be given a lifetime ban.
